Hemp Oil Frequently Asked Questions
Hemp Oil Frequently Asked Questions
Hemp Oil is an amazing product that is quickly gaining popularity. However, there is also much confusion about Hemp Oil. Is Hemp Oil Marijuana? Is Hemp Oil CBD? Is Cannabis CBD? What is Hemp Oil good for? I'm going to dive into each one of these questions and many more.
A: This is probably the most common question I get asked concerning Zatural Hemp Oil. Simply put, No, Zatural Hemp Oil and CBD are not the same thing. Zatural Hemp Oil comes from the Seed of the Cannabis Sativa plant. The seed does not contain Cannabinoids by nature. In comparison, CBD is one of several Cannabinoids. CBD would come from another part of the plant, often times the leaf, blossom, or even the stalk, but not the seed.
Q: Will I fail a drug test?
A: No! With Zatural Hemp Oil or CBD oil will not cause a failed drug test. This is because it does not contain THC. THC is the drug that causes a ‘high’ and a failed drug test. THC is also one of the many Cannabinoids. However, in the Industrial Hemp Plant THC levels are very low and nearly non existent. We’ll get more into this in another question below.
Q: Is CBD Oil the same as Marijuana?
A: No,CBD Oil is not the same as Marijuana. Marijuana comes from a completely different strain of the Cannabis Family and is grown to contain high amounts of THC, the drug that causes the ‘high’, while Zatural CBD comes from the industrial Hemp Plant and is grown to contain 0.3% THC or less.
A: No, Zatural Cannabis Hemp Oil is not the same as CBD. Often times people assume that CBD is short Cannabis. This however is not the case. CBD is short for Cannabidiol. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the many Cannabinoids. Cannabis however is the botanical name for the Industrial Hemp Plant. I know, a lot of ‘Canna’ terms and they can get confusing, but just remember, Cannabis does not mean CBD. Cannabis just means what plant it comes from.
Q: Is Cannabis the same as Marijuana?
A: This is a good question and can go either way I guess. Cannabis is the Botanical name for a family of plants. There are many different strains of the Cannabis Plant including Cannabis Sativa (Industrial Hemp), Cannabis Indica (Marijuana). So Cannabis could mean Marijuana, but it could also mean Industrial Hemp. It would always be a good idea to clarify what strain of Cannabis it is so you can know if it is Marijuana or Industrial Hemp!
