What is Neem Oil?

Neem Oil comes from the seeds of the Neem Tree, also known as Azadirachta Indica. The Neem Tree is Located in India and Southeast Asia. It can also be found in tropical and semi-tropical climates. The best method for extracting this oil from the seeds is by cold-pressing. Cold-pressing ensures that no beneficial compounds or nutrients are lost.

Neem Oil is high in fatty acids, such as linoleic, oleic, and palmitic acids, which can assist in supporting healthy skin and hair. Neem oil is a prevalent ingredient in many skin and hair products. Neem oil contains the compound known as Azadirachtin, which is a compound used in insecticides. Azadirachtin is non-toxic to humans, making it the best natural pesticide and insecticide available on the market. Organic farmers use neem oil for the protection of crops from insects.

Suggested Use

Pump or pour 1 tsp to 1 tbsp of Neem Shampoo and work through the hair and scalp. It can be set on the scalp for up to 10 minutes for difficult problems. Rinse well with warm water. Follow with Organic Neem Conditioner. Neem conditioner, too, can remain on the scalp and hair for up to 20 minutes.

Note: Our Neem Shampoo is runny because it is SLS-Free, and this, mixed with the Neem Oil, makes it super runny.
