Cooking: Avocado oil has a smoke point of 520º which is extremely high. This oil is great for cooking in a skillet or in a deep fryer. As a side note, some nutrients may be lost in the heating process. Avocados can be added to salad dressing and dipping sauces to keep the nutritional profile intact.
